Reinhold Schroeder, JD, CPA, MTAX
Reinhold Schroeder has been an attorney engaged in the private practice of law since receiving his Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University in 1994. He concentrates in the areas of estate planning, trusts, charitable planning, estate administration and tax law. He is a member of the State Bars of Michigan and Indiana. He has completed the Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) Probate & Estate Planning Certificate Program. He was a past president of the Southwestern Michigan Estate Planning Council and is a Rotarian. Reinhold has served on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of the Berrien County Bar Association. He is also a partner in the South Bend, Indiana CPA firm of Schroeder May.
Rein serves clients that have Indiana legal needs through his affiliation with Nemeth, Feeney Masters & Campiti, PC in South Bend, Indiana. He also represents clients in the purchase and sale of their businesses with specific emphasis on minimizing the taxes on the transaction.
Rein was published in the Fall 1992 issue of the Valparaiso University Law Review where he discussed the estate tax impact of certain business transfers among family members. He has taught tax law as an adjunct faculty member and spoken on tax and estate tax law to attorneys, CPAs, financial planners and insurance agents.
Rein is also a CPA licensed in Michigan and Indiana.
Rein received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Valparaiso University and a Masters degree in Taxation from DePaul University.
