3 Days To Void Contract?

Question: I have a question about contracts. I was told that in Michigan a person has 3 days to void a contract they have signed. Is that true?

Answer: No, this is not a Michigan law. If you signed a contract as a result of a home solicitation sale, or a mortgage refinancing or home equity, then Federal Law often provides a three day right of recission. In most other cases it is a question where an attorney can help you only after learning all the facts.
